Upcycled Wine Bottle Drinking Glass Printed H2O
Each bottle is carefully cut, sanded, polished and bevelled leaving a smooth finish with no rough or sharp edges. Then, it is printed with glass enamel and “cooked” at 560ºC. This means the printing is permanently attached to the glass. For the final touch, it is individually packed in a recyclable cardboard carton with window.
Hila Upcycle processes use much less energy compared with standard glass recycling methods. Low temperatures during the reshaping process mean that our products keep many of the characteristics of the original bottle, creating unique, functional and sustainable objects.
Our products are handmade from a variety of reclaimed bottles and artistic in nature. Therefore, variation in colour, tone, texture and size are inherent in the product and are not considered defects. Consider you are always acquiring a sustainable product and also a unique hand-crafted piece.
All of our upcycled glassware is collected from our local community and transformed into something special in Australia.
